that’s why it’s called a body.

I’m Ella and thank you for finding my corner of the internet!

I’m a poet, scriptwriter and playwright, having graduated from Bath Spa University in Creative Writing BA Hons. I was the recipient of the Les Arnold Prize for Poetry in my year and won

the Porthleven Prize, a multi-disciplinary residency in Cornwall

in 2025.

My work focuses on the ordinary moments in life and the relationships between family, friends and lovers. I have written

for magazines such as WriteOn! and worked with film festivals across the South West, writing reviews and pre-selecting for Encounters, FilmBath and Two Short Nights.

Aside from writing, I have production experience with a focus

on short form film, most recently working on MUSE’s Cryogen for their new album. I am currently developing my full-length play and finding a publisher for my debut pamphlet Psyhogeography.
