I was selected for the Porthleven Prize, a two-part creative residency that encourages multidisciplinary collaboration, exploring ideas from various fields of enquiry and media.

We spent three weeks in the Cornish town in spring 2025, sharing disciplines and experiences and how they related to the town.

The responses resulted in a travelling exhibition in The Lightboat House, Porthleven, and the Michael Pennie Gallery, Bath.

I performed a selection of my poems in response to my experience there, including an epic poem from the perspective of the harbour and her history in the town, alongside a stone sculpture and a series of photo-etchings.

“We walk up the lane in single file,
where the brittle corridor of the
hedgerow masks our movements.”
